Creative Direction
My creative direction work is entirely client-based, spanning freelance commissions across two distinct bodies of work.
The first is long-form artistic collaboration, working closely with clients over multiple projects to build a consistent visual world. This includes leading full creative direction for a band across various releases, developing all concepts and visual language, hiring and directing photographers, being on-site during shoots to guide the vision, and handling all editing and design personally from concept to final delivery.
The second is single-project commissions, where I translate a client's sound or vision into a standalone visual identity. This includes album and single cover design, working across photography, mixed media, typography, and graphic composition to create something that feels authentic to the artist and their work.
Que Te Encuentres
with Estáticos
A hand-crafted album cover created using mixed media techniques, combining printed photography, paper cutting, and graphic composition. The design layers a film-style concert photo with a cut paper silhouette, unified by a bold red monochromatic palette that creates depth through texture contrast rather than color variety. The silhouette breaking out of the photograph's frame was an intentional design choice to suggest absence and presence simultaneously, reinforcing the emotional theme of the title. Color theory principles guided the use of red as the dominant hue, creating visual tension and energy, while the aged, grainy aesthetic of the photo grounds the piece in nostalgia.
El Cine
with Estáticos
The first project is inspired by Old Hollywood and the magic of movie theaters. That feeling of stepping into another world. It celebrates cinema as something special and nostalgic. I created the concept, directed the shoot, and handled all editing and design.
Cenicienta
The second project reimagines Cinderella with a twist, dreamy, romantic, and quietly sad. It explores the feeling of living inside someone else’s fantasy.
I translated that soft, melancholic mood into the visuals, creating an atmosphere that feels delicate and haunting, like a fairytale just after midnight.
With Estáticos
This project builds a visual world for Sin Dormir, a single by the artist Ekka. The aesthetic is quirky, sketchy, and youthful, driven by playful lines and vibrant, expressive color.
The concept places Ekka in a lovey, dreamlike state, daydreaming about a boy who keeps her awake, not from restlessness, but from wonder. The visuals capture that soft in-between space where imagination and emotion blur, translating the feeling of a crush that lingers. I was in charge of the photography, art, editing, concept, and creative direction.
